Regional Computer Systems

   The Council operates a Regional Computer System made up of thirteen local governments and the Council, itself, sharing common hardware and software. The System staff is responsible for program development and maintenance, and to date has implemented components of utility billing and collection, ad valorum and automobile tax billing and collection, payroll, voter registration, landfill management, and building inspection. The staff also provides technical assistance in procurement, installation, and limited maintenance of equipment, networking, and furnishes training, as needed, to participating governments.
