Information & Research Assistance

   The Council is an affiliate of the State Date Center and receives all the latest census data, projections and updates concerning the seven county area immediately upon publication. The Council maintains an extensive data library containing materials pertaining to aging, economic development, applied planning techniques, housing, labor, agriculture, and health. All statistical data are available upon request. The Council also serves as a manager of the NC Intergovernmental Review process. A newsletter entitled 'ReCOGnition' is published periodically.
